Hives: Hives are better controlled with antithistamine than Singulair (montelukast). Most cases of chronic hives are not known although about 30-49% are considered of autoimmune origin. If high doses antihistamine failed, see an allergist. I note that you do have dry skin which may be associated with eczema. Each individual hive lasts days.
