See Gyn...: A yeast infection is the most common reason for vaginal itching; however, if you've used Monistat and it didn't go away, its time to get an exam. There are other causes of itching and your Gyn will be able to determine the cause. Best wishes!

Be patient: Most women become familiar with their symptom is a vaginal yeast infection. The treatment with meds like Monistattakes several days to be effective, depending on the manufacturers directios on course you take. If still symptomatic, Pl get yourself checked for other causes like UTI and STD etc., if applicable in your case. Feel better!
