Diet and Exercise: Best way to loose weight is to go on a low calorie,low carb diet.eliminate all simple sugars like sucrose, glucose and fructose .And eat balanced diet low in carbs .It may be better to consult a Dietician to help with meal planning etc. As far Asthma is concerned,I will suggest you consult your Doctor,it depends on the severity and control of your Asthma.Go slow and good luck
