Drinking water helps: Basically, U need to take antibiotics to get rid of a UTI as quickly as possible. Drinking lot of water helps to flush out bacteria causing infection, making U urinate more often. Bacteria reproduce as frequently by doubling their number every 20 - 30 minutes & urinating removes bacteria which aren't sticking to bladder wall. Bacteria on bladder wall require antibiotic treatment. So it helps
