It's a scam: ICP47 is an HSV gene; inhibiting it in theory could be the basis of herpes treatment. But Herpes Cleanse is a quack product that has no effect on ICP47 or the virus. Do not waste your money on it. The ONLY treatments effective against herpes are the traditional antiviral drugs, i.e. acyclovir, valacyclovir, and famciclovir. Also forget docosanol (Abreva), lysine, and other "natural" products.
