Hi. i have a sinus infection. i took 400mg advil (ibuprofen) and a sudafed 5.5 hours ago and now want to go to sleep. can i take nyquil now?

Sudafed: IS A STIMULANT and should not be taken before sleep!! NYQUIL has phenylephrine which is in the SAME family as sudafed (but is less stimulating thus may be used at hour of sleep) The TWO ARE ADDITIVE thus I would wait for 8 hours between doses!! Hope this helps! Dr Z
