STATINS.: You are right. Statins may slow human aging by protetecting against DNA (Telomere) shorting by Telomerase activation and promote healthy aging free of age-related diseases like heart disease,diabetes and cancer. Statins, compared to placebo significantly reduced the risk of heart attack by 39.4%,and stroke by 23.8%. Hope this will answer your question.
