When's is the right time to take action with carpal tunnel pains?

See below: Carpal tunnel involves the median nerve and will usually cause symptoms of tingling numbness pain in certain fingers and part of the palm of the hand. There can be irreversible damage to the nerve if the symptoms are ignored. So it is best to be evaluated early to avoid more serious issues

earlier treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome usually has a better outcome than delayed treatment. if the symptoms are not getting better with appropriate anti inflammatory diet and treatments such as braces and steroid injections then surgery often leads to a better long term outcome to avoid nerve damage.

Start ASAP once EMG confirmed. Do Not avoid B-6 and nocturnal wrist splint, hand therapy, and no repetitive wrist flexion/ extension
