My vagina is itchy only sometimes though, it's been going on for almost a week, no burning or pain just uncomformtable. what do i do?

Several things: The most likely cause is yeast. There are many over the counter medications you can try for this. Some have allergic reactions to household items as the vagina is very sensitive. Soaps and feminine wash may be making things worse. Others have skin disorders like lichen sclerosis, lichen simplex chronicus, psoriasis and eczema. A simple exam should clear up the diagnosis.
