Probably nothing: Menstrual cycle variation is normal, especially after age 35. If still uncertain, perform a pregnancy test now and in 1 week. If negative, cycles will usually return to normal. If positive, see your doctor immediately, due to the high risk of a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy.
