It depends...: ...on what you mean by "mimics". Many things can cause some herpes-like symptoms: oral impetigo, minor pimples, folliculitis, syphilis, some yeast infections, various kinds of dermatitis, and more. But almost no mimics if symptoms are typical: blisters/sores, esp. if recurrent and in clusters, sometimes inflamed nodes in the groin, heal in 1-2 weeks. Typical or not, see doctor for exam, testing.
