Could be infection: You may have an infection. Oftentimes odors are associated with infections that we can treat with medication. You could be getting some simple breakthrough bleeding also since you are about halfway through your normal menstrual cycle. That can give you some darker drainage with a slight odor as well. If this is something new for you then you should see your Dr. as it sounds like an infection might
