Sorry to hear that: In my experience, 95% of women who self diagnose themselves with yeast are incorrect. Unfortunately, many doctors will treat these infections (esp at first) with no exam, just symptoms. This causes the pt to always associate that sx like itch or discharge with yeast. Especially, if you are having recurrence, see a doc, get a wet prep and or a culture to make sure.
