Can be common: At your gestation the corpus luteum can still be seen (the area on the ovary where the egg was released). Seeing this is normal. Additionally some women can have "simple" cysts on their ovaries. If cysts are large and/or complex in appearance then they need to be more carefully evaluated. In short, size and appearance an be important.
