Left arm parasthesia/sensitivity to touch and clothing for 6 days. past 2 days it has spread to right arm as well. not present on waking, but comes on within minutes and lasts all day. multiple nerves in arms seem affected. cause?

MRI Needed: 30 year old male w. acute bilateral arm parasthesias has worrisome symptoms, especially if there was recent head/neck trauma. These symptoms raise question of cervical spine integrity. I vote for urgent evaluation & Neurologist's opinion. Not to perform an MRI might initiate medical misadventure. Head weighs about 10 pounds &, when body upright, places biomechanical force upon the cervical spine.
