Lymphadenitis: Lymph nodes drain infection ो---- be it. In ears, throat, head or mouth. They will enlarge when recent infection occurs in any of above organs.

Swollen lymphnode: Infection can cause swelling of lymphnode. If it stays swollen for more than 4 weeks then it needs to be evaluated.
