I suffer from g a d.my dr took me off lexapro due to headaches and put me on lyrica (pregabalin).will lyrica (pregabalin) calm me down. thanks?

GAD: Although Lyrica (pregabalin) can help some people with anxiety, the long term solution for most anxiety disorders is effective therapy. I recommend a psychologist who is trained in CBT and EMDR. Anxiety usually starts from some stressful/disturbing experiences that can trulybe resolved, so you don't need to be on medication forever. Don't give up--you don't have to feel anxious forever
