I have a vaginal boil. i went to the dr and was provided antibiotics. the doctor didn't lance it. how long will it take to resolve?

Varies: It depends on the "boil" how long it will take to heal. It may still need to be drained but it is safest to have antibiotics on board first. I'm sure the doctor plans on follow-up to see how it is responding. Hope this helps.
