The PI is the minimum information which the FDA thinks any physician should have in order to decide if the product might be useful to prescribe for a patient. Yes: Invega Sustenna (paliperidone palmitate) is sustained release formulation of Paliperidone. Paliperidone is active metabolite of risperidone, a common atypical antipsychotic med indicated for schizophrenia and othe off-label uses. 3mg/day is considered on the low dose end of the spectrum with 12mg/day considered max dose. It also comes in long acting injectable form which has been associated with some fatalities.
