Manage this now: Topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid clear maybe half of acne cases in teens. Her physician may add spironolactone, a topical (clindamycin) or systemic antibiotic (plain tetracycline is a good cheap choice), or start the oral contraceptive pill which depending on her biology can offer other health benefits. Isotretinoin for severe cases.
