First aid: Elevate your foot above the level of your heart and apply ice for 15-20 minutes every couple hours. Take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) and/or ibuprofen for the pain. If that does not help the pain and throbbing you may need to see a doctor.

Put ice on it: Take an antiinflammatory. Ice is your best friend but you likely need to have xrays to make sure you didnt break anything.
