Open sores = herpes: In women, initial genital herpes infection usually causes obvious blisters and/or open sores of the labia, vaginal opening, etc. Itching or irritation, without sores, usually isn't herpes. But allergy to sexual lubricants is rare, although a bit more common if it was a spermicide contraceptive cream. See a doctor ASAPfor more accurate diagnosis treamtent if it's herpes. Good luck!
