Fever: A fever of 101 degrees is not normal & is not due to the provera (medroxyprogesterone) or the period.See ur PCP, GYN, or an urgent care clinic today to find out what else is going on. It is normal since your uterine lining has been growing for 6 months that ur period would be heavy and long & occasionally nausea & even vomiting can be caused by the prostaglandins released with the breakdown of the lining but the fever
