Serious Rx: Face washes with salicylic acid will clear a mild case; you must keep up treatment until the disease clears on its own. I was able to stop treating mine when I was 50. If topical benzoyl peroxide / retinoic acid / salicylic acid have failed, as they often do, you need to accept an additional prescription-strength Rx from your physician. You need to do this.
