How do you prevent weight gain from horizant if you really need to be on it?

Not everyone gets it: Not all people who take it will get weight gain. If you need to be on it, I would pay more attention to diet and exercise. There is no antidote to prevent. And watch your weight of course.

Horizant: The only way to prevent this is to decrease the dose. This is a normal side effect with this medication. It is self limiting ( you will gain weight and then stop).
