Oral preparations: If the palate is constantly itchy, it is unlikely to be from food allergy but one needs to rule out an allergy to products used in your mouth. On the other hand, allergy is a common cause for palatal itching and I suspect that you do have some nasal congestion which you have got used to. If you do have nasal symptoms, see an allergist especially if antihistamine helps the itching.
