See Ophthalmologist: Bacterial conjunctivitis should be cured within a week when appropriate antibiotic medication is administered. No improvement indicates that either the organism is resistant to moxifloxacin or another etiology exists. In the first case, culture and sensitivity is required to choose the antibiotic.
