Only time: Unfortunately, if you are on a high dose of prednisone, and 60 mg/day is indeed a high dose, there is really nothing you can do while you are on the medication to lose the fat. Prednisone has a lot of unpleasant side effects including redistribution of fat, loss of muscle mass, osteoporosis, muscle weakness and more. It will take considerable time off the medication before your appearance is same.
