Which causes iron deficiency anaemia to be different to other types of anaemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Types of anemia: There are many causes of anemia. Anemia means a low blood count which can be caused by inadequate production of red blood cells in the bone marrow or excessive loss of blood from different sites in the body. Two of the most common are the uterus and the bowel. Anemia is a sign of a problem which requires diagnosing the cause. Iron deficiency is one such cause.
