No: Asbestos has heen associated with the development of pleural mesothelioma. That appears to be its only associated malignant disorder. Considering that over a hundred thousand patients develop colon cancer yearly in the US, non have any history of such exposure. Rather it is believed that polyoma virus has an association with colonic neoplasms where tumor began as a GI inflammatory process .
