It depends: Many benign tumors can be labelled a pimple. Some of these are blocked glands(sweat glands/sebacious glands etc). What to do about it? depends on if it is painful/tender or painless and if it is changing in color or size.Redness implies inflammation, this would subside in 1-2 weeks, nothing else needs to be done. Anything that is persistent, bothers you or growing can be removed by your doctor.
