A member asked:

I live in fear of having a blood clot, what can i do to reassure myself? or make sure it doesn't happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CBT: It seems that you understand that blood clots are a real danger but unlikely, that you know generally what the risk is and how to minimize it, and that you recognize these fears to be out of proportion. A short course of cognitive behavioral therapy would probably empower you to rid yourself if you ste willing to put in a little effort.
