Alcohol withdrawal: Three to seven days. But, if you have been drinking heavily or have the sweats or tremors you can seize and die in withdrawal. Please please have someone around or get to a detox unit to make sure you are safe and have understanding professionals around you as you enter sobriety and begin to treat the disease of alcoholism.
