Stick to tablets: The only concern with Alpha-gal and medications is their gelatin content and if you are that sensitive to gelatin. Gelatin has been proven to cause reactions in severely alpha gal sensitive patients. Therefore, capsules and gel caps may be of concern. Some online sites have warned about magnesium stearate which is derived from animal fat. Doctors at UVa proved-stearate does not have alpha gal.
