Fast speech does: not equate w/intelligence. It can simply be that the person is hyper, very confident, or even overbearing. Research indicates the Emotional Intelligence (see books by Daniel Goleman) is more helpful in life than IQ. Don't be fooled by thinking that "intelligent" folks are better than the rest of us.
