A member asked:

I just had a cold with a runny nose, sneezing, minor headaches and a sore neck. could i have meningitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Meningitis usually makes you VERY sick - severe neck and head pain along with fever and malaise. Mild neck pain can occur with any viral infection or low-grade fever. If you have severe neck pain and cannot put your chin down to your chest then you should see a doctor.
