Unlikely but possibl: Smokeless gunpowder is made primarily from Nitroglycerin and/or nitrocellulose, with stabilizing compounds added. These usually burn quite completely, but certainly leave residues. Repeated contact with these may sensitize you and you could develop an allergy or hypersensitivity. However, this appears to be extremely uncommon in practical terms. also have to consider the finishes/oils on the gun.
