Is there a difference bet. orthostatic hypotension and hypotension?

Low blood pressure: Orthostatis has specifically to do with hypotension related to changing position, usually from supine to standing. Hypotension just means your blood pressure is low and you are symptomatic. That can be from medications, dehydration, irregular heart rhythms, etc.

Yes: orthostatic hypotension is change in blood pressure due to change in position. A low blood pressure may occur when you stand up. Hypotension is low blood pressure at all times, regardless of position
