Abscess: No. Must see your doctor. It needs antibiotics and incision and drainage if necessary.

Gluteal Abcess: An abscess requires prompt medical attention. It will usually require surgical incision and drainage. Even though treatments like moxibustion are sometimes used, in this case I recommend standard medical care. Delaying assessment and care can lead to complications.
