Lightheaded: unsteadiness when changing position may be form benign positional vertigo, metabolic abnormality such as electrolytes anemia or thyroid. if your room spins it is probably vertigo if you lean to one side stroke and middle ear problems are considered See your Doctor for physical exam make sure you are well hydrated try not to sleep flat in bed raising the head the bed may ameliorate your symptom
