Yes: Any bleeding in the first trimester is a cause for concern. You are too early for ultrasound to check on the pregnancy. If you are really concerned, you might wish to get a "quantitative bhcg" blood test, and have it repeated in one week. This can help determine a healthy pregnancy from a failing one
