Hi doc, a friends been complaining of pain in the throat after eating sweets or sugary stuff. he is fine non sweetened food or drinks. it's been over a week with this complaint. what do you think it is? thanks doc.

Unknown: It may be a small ulcer, but certainly doesn't sound dangerous. If it continues or gets worse, it must be examined. Preferably by an ear, nose, and throat specialist. Any doctor with the right tools to examine the back of the throat would do however. Hope this helps!
