Infection: Most likely is a pimple, but you can get pretty severe infections in ear cartilage if they don't get treated. Put a warm wash cloth on the ear at least 6 times today for about 5 minutes each time, and if it is not the least bit better by tomorrow you should see someone and get on an antibiotic.
