No: Quite the opposite, there are good studies to suggest that people who get adequate amounts of healthy sleep are actually more prone to less obesity.

Sleep: Too much sleep does not increase weight but not being active can. So, please check w/your doctor about a possible exercise routine. If you feel you sleep too much, ask him/her about the possibility of a medical condition or if you might be depressed. Peace and good health.
