Many causes: It could be a tremor which could be due to side effects from medicines or a neurological disorder like Parkinson's disease. Other causes include metabolic problems like hyperthyroidism. It could also be due to toxins, heavy metals, alcohol or drug withdrawal, stroke or another form of brain injury. See a Dr. for an evaluation and treatment.

Generic answer: As has been noted, you could have shaking of left hand at rest, which might be Parkinson's. or focal neurological event like a stroke, but if when performing action, might represent cerebellar problem. The focality needs investigation, and some testing would be of value, but a neurological referral would be best way to start.
