Not necessary: If u were on the placebo week (inactive pills) when the condom broke & had been taking the pills right, the morning after pill wasn't necessary.U were already protected againsy pregnancy.The risk was an STD. Taking the emergency contraception will alter your bleeding pattern and is almost certainly what has caused the delayed period and brown spotting. Continue your pills and this should b okay
