Unlikely: It is always possible that u r pregnant if u have missed pills or taken them late or have taken a medication that interferes with the action of the pill.No method of contraception is 100% effective.However, the most likely explanation is the low estrogen dose in most pills used today.This stimulates so little growth of the lining, missing periods occasionally is common.
