Watch it change over: If you watch it over one week, it will either settle down(as it is likely to be an inflammatory lesion. If it gets worse or grows in size or does not go away in 2-3 weeks, you should go see your gynecologist of PCP for physical examination.

Most likely Abscess: I recommend seeing your Ob/gyn Dr. My concern is that it might be an infection of a hair follicle that might progress to an abscess, that will subsequently needs to be drained, w short course of antibiotics, given your description, that it is a single lesion and painful.
