Flutter in the neck: Hi Lori, When you have the flutter feeling, check your own pulse - does it feel regular? Is the pulse fast? Flutter could indicate a heart rhythm problem. Sometimes, thyroid problems (overactive) or excessive alcohol can induce the feeling of fluttering in chest and neck. Check with your primary physician and get your heart checked out. Good Luck!
