Pregnant with - tat: Because you used to be very regular, you may have had a very early miscarriage. The trophoblast, which becomes the placenta, died and could no longer produce HCG, which causes the positive pregnancy test as early as seven days after conception. Such early "blighted ova" after demise may appear as a menstrual period with no tissue visible.

You can: if you have enough reason to think that you are pregnant, and the HPT keep coming back negative, you might need to see your doctor for a blood test, there is a little mistake in that. HPT could be false negative, because it depends on the amount of hcg in the urine, and in some cases it might not always become high that fast. so in doubt get the blood test.
